Jose Yeste, Ph.D.

Postdoctoral Fellow

I am an Electronic Engineer with a M.Sc. degree in Micro and Nanoelectronic Engineering and a Ph.D. in Electrical and Telecommunication Engineering. My research has been focused on the development of microphysiological systems for modeling and monitoring biological barriers. In Turner lab, I seek to apply nanotechnology to analysis of transport mechanisms at the intestinal mucosal barrier. We will develop technology to study the mechanism underlying transport regulation through claudin channels.
